Aerial (Drone) Photography & Videography Services

Aerial Drones can capture dynamic, illustrative videos and images that display the scope and scenic context of your event. Drones offer unique and grand perspectives of the beautiful locations where people choose to wed. Are you tying the knot on a mountainside, vast valley, or other stunning location? Imagine looking through your wedding album on your 20th anniversary and having a sweeping aerial image of your venue. So cool! It is a fantastic way to take full advantage of the gorgeous space you chose.

Unlike ground-based photography, drones provide a whole new way to document your nuptials. It elevates your usual, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to a memory that will never be forgotten.

Hiring a professional drone pilot to shoot your wedding is a no-brainer. You hire a professional drone operator for the same reasons you hire a photographer or videographer: You want to make sure that the photos and films come out the best they can. After all, weddings only happen once; there are no reshoots.

Since drones are so versatile, you will be able to get creative with your wedding shots. Gather your guests on the lawn to spell out words or organize them in other fun ways. Capturing incredible, emotional moments that wouldn’t have been possible to get from the ground, like the bride and her father hiding on one side of the house while the groom waits to see her at the altar—all in one shot. (We get choked up just thinking about it!) Some of the best photos and clips end up being a couple’s ceremony exit, surrounded by the sprawling landscape or cityscape. The intimacy of those moments and the epic grandeur of the vista makes these shots so spectacular.

We are Part 107 certified by the FAA to fly drones commercially.

Yes. Drone Liability insurance is a part of each session.

Yes. Proof of insurance is available for venues if they request it.

To acquire an FAA Part 107 Certification it’s necessary to pass an in-depth test on the use of Sectional Charts, and understanding NOTAMS (Notice To Airman) which outline restrictions and/or hazards.

We have been providing Drone Services for Weddings and Commercial Work (and just for fun) for the past (4) years.

We use DJI Mavic 2 products for our drone sessions. These drones are very compact and are able to go into locations that larger drones can’t.

Yes! We carry a spare drone with us in case there is an equipment failure.

Images will be part of your Wedding Portfolio and will be delivered in a JPG format. Films are included as part of the Wedding Film we create for you.

We handle all requests for waivers for flying in restricted airspace. There is no guarantee the FAA will approve a particular waiver based on activities near and around the airport.

Yes! We have an FAA approved waiver to fly our drones at night.

The FAA has put restrictions on when and where we can fly drones, which includes weather conditions. Drone manufacturers provide specifications for flying their drones. We do not fly in bad weather (ex: rain, snow, extremely windy conditions, fog, etc.).

If Drone Services is a paid add-on to your Wedding Session Package, if the weather makes flying the drone unsafe we will refund the amount you paid for the Drone Service. If the Drone Service is a complimentary add-on to your Wedding Session Package there would be no refund.

If our assessment of the building/venue validates the ceilings are high enough and the risk for running into obstacles is low, we may be able to fly the drone indoors.
