SESSION FAQ
Session pricing includes all fees & taxes, high resolution digital images with a Studio Print Release, and online gallery, store, and slideshow. We also offer a free consultation to answer any questions you may have and to help you select the perfect session.
If the venue you select for your session has an admission or city/park permit fee there will be an additional charge. The exception is the Indiana Museum of Art Collections which already have the pass fees included in the price of the session.
Payment is due no later than the day of your session.

If you need to cancel and reschedule your session then we’ll find a mutually agreed upon date/time that works for everyone. If you cancel and don’t reschedule your session, we will refund your session fee with the exception of any admission or city/park permit fees.
Yes – we offer weekend sessions.
We watch the weather to make sure your shoot is good to go. Any day with a 50% chance of rain will most likely be rescheduled to another date.
The best light is typically a few hours after sunrise and just before sunset. We try to avoid mid-day sessions because of the harshness of the light, however, if the location of your session is heavily shaded than almost anytime during daylight hours should be fine.
Every senior portrait is professionally retouched unless requested otherwise. We keep retouching to a minimum because we want you to look like yourself. If you have a request for more advanced retouching like removing braces, etc. we’ll be happy to provide you with an estimated cost based on the time required to complete the changes.
You can bring as many friends and/or family members as you like. We’ll even include them in some of the photos as well as have them assist if their willing.
Absolutely! The only request we have is that you adhere to any local ordinances such as leashes, etc.
Of course, anything that has meaning or is special to you may be used in the photoshoot. I urge against using anything that will look outdated in several years. We want these images to be timeless. If you’re unsure than please contact us and we’ll help you make the right choices.
It is not mandatory that one of your parents be present, unless you are under the age of 18. However we highly recommend one of your parents is present to assist with hair, makeup, clothes, etc.
It all depends on the number of locations, travel time, and outfit changes. In many cases we’ll take several photos of the same pose to make sure that we didn’t catch you in the middle of a blink. Instead we focus on the number of proofs you should see in your gallery. For a two hour session then number of proofs can vary from 30-60 – but again it’s all dependent on the number of locations, travel time, and outfit changes.
We try to have the final proofs posted within 2 weeks, however in most cases it’s sooner than that.
We traditionally have focused on Weddings and Senior Portraits. We do also offer family & maternity sessions but typically only for those clients that have booked a Wedding or Senior session with us.
You don’t need to know a thing. This is our forte! We pose every bit of you for the most flattering angles and portraits. You will probably be incredibly in sync with us by the end of the photoshoot, but many of the people we work with have never done this. One “tip” we often tell our clients is to look through sites like Pintrest and find poses they like. Then stand in front of a mirror and try the different poses – and don’t be afraid to modify the pose based on your personal preference. If you find a pose you like just send us a link to the photo and we’ll bring it with us!

PRODUCT FAQ
You can download any/all of your images through your Online Gallery. We would be happy to provide you with a CD of the images at your request.
Your online gallery will be available until June 1st of the year you graduate. If you need additional time just let us know.
As the photographer the Studio owns the Copyrights to all images taken as part of the session. Under the Federal Copyright Act of 1976, photographs are protected by Copyright from the moment of creation. Photographers have the exclusive right to reproduce their photographs.
We’ll provide you with a Studio Print Release which is a license for you to print any of the images you receive. As the photographer we still maintain the Copyright to all of the images. Please keep in mind that we are not responsible for any color or variations of any prints that are not purchased directly through our studio due to the wide variation in equipment used by third-parties.
We typically process all of images from your session in color. After you have a chance to view your proofs you can let us know which images you would like to see in black & white. There is no additional charge.
We have found that photo packages usually contain products that you may or may not be interested in. Instead we have a “Create Your Own Package” solution that allows you to purchase only those products you are most interested in. Packages are discounted based on the products and quantity of products purchased.
Absolutely – our product consultations are free and we highly encourage them to answer any questions and showcase our wide variety of print products. Just give us a call or drop us an email and we’ll setup a date/time that works for everyone.
Although we offer a multitude of print products there is no minimum purchase required other than the cost of your session. However, keep in mind that prints ordered through our Studio are printed by a professional photo lab who prints your images using archival photo paper and ink to insure color correctness and lasting quality.

Depending on the photo products you order it could take 5-7 business days before they are deliverable.
